Voinovich and Hatcher earn Junior Freestyle All-American honors

Fargo, North Dakota is the host of the biggest high school wrestling tournament in the world.  The  best U16 and Junior aged wrestlers from across the United States traveled to Fargo to compete in the U16 and Junior National Freestyle Tournament.

Victor Voinovich rattled off six dominate wins to reach the Junior National finals at 145 pounds.  In the national championship match, Voinovich fell 10-4 to a 6x Cuban National Champion, who represented Arizona. This was the second time Voinovich earned All-American honors in Fargo.

Ethan Hatcher also earned All-American honors for the second time in Fargo.  Hatcher had six wins via technical fall, but suffered a heartbreaking 7-6 loss in the national semi-finals.  Hatcher finished 3rd in the nation at 195 pounds.
