For the second consecutive year, Victor Voinovich earned All-American honors at the UWW Junior Freestyle National Tournament. This years UWW event was hosted in Omaha, Nebraska and featured the top freestyle wrestlers under the age of 20 from around the country. A primarily college event, Voinovich was one of only a handful of high school wrestlers to earn All-American honors.
Voinovich opened the event with technical fall victories over Lock Haven University, Eastern Wyoming University, and Iowa State Univeristy before droping a heartbreaking match in the final seconds vs Oklahoma University. Voinovich would bounce back with a win over Iowa State University to secure All-American honrs for the second year in a row.
Senior Ben Vanadia also competed in the U20 UWW Junior Freestyle National Tournament. Vanaida had wins over University of Michigan and South Dakota State University. Vanadia would drop a back and forth match vs Virginia Tech University in the match to be an All-American.
